Recipe of PAV BHAJI
Pav Bhaji is typically a Maharashtrian dish, loved and cherished all over India. A very tasty and mouth watering recipe for Paw Bhaji is given below
What you Need for Pav Bhaji
4 onions,finely chopped.
4 tomatos, finely chopped.
1 capsicum,finely chopped.
100 gm peas,boiled.
4-5 large boiled potatoes.grated
1/2 kg cauliflower,grated
2 tbsp coriander powder.
1/2 tsp turmeric powder.
1 1/2 tsp red chilli powder.(adjust according to taste).
2 tsp pav bhaji masala.
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
Salt according to taste.
4 tbsp ghee.
1 cake of butter.
12 pieces of bun bread.
Green coriander leaves,finely chopped.
How to cook Pav Bhaji
METHOD OF PREPARING PAV BHAJI
Take a wide vessel and heat ghee.
Then cook chopped onions till caramalised brown.
Then add coriander powder,turmeric powder,garam masala powder,red chilli powder,salt
Then add half chopped tomatoes in the gravy.
When gravy leaves oil,then add mashed potatoes and grated cauliflower in the gravy.
Then add chopped capsicum and boiled peas in the gravy. Mix it well.
Add half glass of water in it.again mix it well.cover the vessel.
After 4-5 minutes add remaining chopped tomatoes,pav bhaji masala and butter in the mixture.cover it again.
Stir the bhaji mixture time to time till it get dry.
Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves n chopped onions.
Take bun bread and sliced it in two pieces and apply butter to it.
Then heat it and serve the bhaji along with buns.Relish it pipping hot.
