Mutton Curry Recipe

What you need for mutton curry

750 gms mutton (goat meat)
1/4 cup curd
3 big size onions
2 tomoato finely chopped
1 inch ginger
1/2 tsp pepper (powdered)
2 tsp vinegar
1 tsp coriander powder
salt as per taste
1/2 tsp clove (powdered)
3 tblsp vegetable oil
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
6 garlic flakes

How to cook mutton curry

First wash mutton pieces so that they are cleaned properly. Drain the water and keep the pieces
aside. Now cover the dried pieces of mutton with curd, ginger garlic paste, red chilli, turmeric powder,
salt and green coriander and let it marinade for 4 hours.
Take a deep vessel, heat the vegetable oil and add chopped onions, tomato pieces and garlic flakes (crushed), fry the onions till it turns golden brown.
Add cinnamon, clove, coriander powder, pepper powder and red chilli powder, along with some water, fry for 2-3 mins, till the oil starts seperating.
Now put mutton pieces and fry the mixture with the meat pieces so that the masala goes inside the mutton pieces. Onces the mutton pieces have fried
well, add some water and bring it to boil. cover the vessel and heat at reduced flame for 30-40 minutes, until meat is tender. Now add some vinegar
and mix it well. Remove the heat and serve the delicious mutton hot with chapatis.
