Leg of lamb recipe

What you need for leg of lamb

3 Kg trimmed leg of Lamb
1/4 cup vegetable oil
5 Garlic flakes
21 small sprigs fresh Sage
Salt to taste
21 small sprigs fresh Rosemary
pepper powder to taste

How to cook leg of lamb

Prick the leg of lamb and make deep cuts all over it. Fill the cuts with garlic slivers and herb sprigs.
Cover the leg with vegetable oil, salt and pepper. Keep it marinading at room temp for 15-20 mins.
Now place the leg in the oven on a rack set in a roasting pan. Cook for about 50 mins. Remove from
oven, now leg of lamb is ready to be served.
