Fish Curry Recipe

What you need for cooking fish curry

750-800 gms white fish
2/3 cup water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 medium Onions chopped
4 cloves
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
2 tomato finely chopped
1 tsp white cumin seeds
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
Salt as per Taste
 

How to cook fish curry

Take the fish and cut it into medium-sized pieces. In a frying pan, pour ghee and heat it. Add the fish pieces and fry them for
5-6 mins.Now take out the fried pieces of fish and put it on kitchen tissue to soak the extra oil.
Fry the chopped onion in vegetable oil till it turns golden brown in color. Add cloves, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt
and fry the mixture for few seconds. Add the ginger garlic paste along with finely chopped tomato and keep frying the mixture
till the oil starts seperating from the mixture. Now add fried pieces of fish and gently stir them so that the fish pieces
are covered with the masala. Add water now and reduce the flame and let it simmer for 10-15 mins.
The fish curry is ready to be served hot with chapatis.
